Following the release of “No Shade In The Shadow Of The Cross,” Sufjan Stevens released the second single from Carrie & Lowell. Like the first track, “Should Haven Known Better” is a light folk song, with a beautiful instrumental interlude and a more upbeat tempo. It’s the perfect mellow track for a summer day (they’re coming soon, we hear).

Carrie & Lowell drops March 31, and Stevens will perform at Massey Hall on April 29.
