Finn Wolfhard and Malcolm Craig have shared a new surf rock track as The Aubreys called “Sand In My Bed.”
The new tune was inspired by summer during COVID-19, serving as a sort of ode to the non-summer that just passed. With retro guitar riffs and a driven drum beat, Wolfhard sings of longing for a different time, delivering lines like, “Wash off the sand before you get into my bed/ One day I will wake to a world that I will dread.”
The new track follows the release of their debut EP Soda & Pie, their recent single “Smoke Bomb,” and January’s collaboration with Lunar Vacation, “No Offerings.”
