Listen: The Beaches return with anthemic new single ‘Let’s Go,’ announce ‘Future Lovers’ EP

'Future Lovers' drops on May 14

The Beaches have officially made their return with the announce of their forthcoming EP, Future Lovers, which is set for release on May 14th via Universal Music Canada. As part of the announcement, they’ve shared a new single called “Let’s Go.”

“Let’s Go” marks The Beaches’ first new tune since their 2019 EP, The Professional. The anthemic track comes packed with gritty, wailing guitars and driven drums, as singer Jordan Miller delivers catchy vocals, singing lines like, “I’m just a girl who used to loaf at a Toronto art school/ Skipped college, joined a band, made out with boys I liked to talk to.”

“We recorded most of Future Lovers in Los Angeles with Jacknife during The Professional sessions,” Miller explains. “But the pandemic gave us the opportunity to look at some of these songs and give them some new Beaches twists before they were released… You know, we’ve kind of all matured a little being stuck at home for over a year.”
