The Dirty Nil have dropped You’re Welcome IV, the fourth installment in a set of covers, and this time the band has covered Big Star’s “September Gurls” and Harry Neilson’s “Without You.”
Their cover of “September Gurls” is more classic rock sounding than the Nil’s original tunes, and it sees the band singing along atop a grainy guitar line and rapid drum beat. “Without You,” on the other hand, sees The Dirty Nil adding their own gritty twist to yet another classic hit.
“We can say with complete honesty that we saved the best for last… trimmed down and dimed up!” frontman Luke Bentham explains in a statement.
