The Killers have released “Fire In Bone,” the second single from their forthcoming album Imploding The Mirage.
“Fire In Bone” is an ’80s synth pop anthem, straying from the rock-based lead single “Caution.” While the new track sees the band exploring a new sound, it’s still unmistakably The Killers. Frontman Brandon Flowers delivers grittier vocals than usual, singing lines like, “I felt no good/ I felt low down/ I felt alone/ I felt unknown” atop a gritty bass line.

The Killers have pushed back the release date of Imploding The Mirage, and it “will be receiving a new release date in the coming weeks due to delays in finalizing the album.”
