The National’s Bryce Dessner has just announced his own new solo album, which will be titled El Chan.
The record is set to be stacked with classical composition, including three pieces he composed called “Concerto For Two Pianos,” “Haven,” and “El Chan,” each performed by sibling pianists Katie and Marielle Labèque. “El Chan” is dedicated to director Alejandro Gonzalez, who he worked on the score for The Revenant with, and his wife Maria Eladia Hagerman.
Check out some previews of El Chan below.
El Chan is set for release on April 5th via Deutsch Grammophon.
