The Shins have gifted us with two new songs during a live premiere over the weekend, playing their first live shows in three years.

The American indie band debuted, “Dead Alive” and “Rubber Balls”, which will presumably be on the new record, due for release early next year.

In August, frontman James Mercer announced that the upcoming, untitled fifth LP was done, and will most likely be released in “like January, hopefully.”
