Listen: The Tallest Man on Earth drops new upbeat folk track ‘I’m a Stranger Now’

'I Love You. It's a Fever Dream.' is set for release on April 19

The Tallest Man On Earth has just dropped a new upbeat folk track “I’m a Stranger Now” off of his forthcoming album I Love You. It’s a Fever Dream. The track is a balance of frontman Kristian Matsson’s folky, crackled vocals and an upbeat, feverish acoustic guitar line, while the lyrics revolve around the album’s exploration of loneliness and how we look at important moments in our lives.

“Making the album, I was thinking a lot about the lenses we view our lives through,” Matsson released in a statement. “For some reason, our worst tendencies seem to be carried out so loudly, while our best can go unnoticed. I’ve come to realize that some of the most powerful, most inspiring moments in my life have been the most subtle and that so often the thing that deserves my attention, is trying the least to get it.”
