Jack White’s Third Man Records has announced that it will be reissuing the White Stripes’ self-titled debut records in honour of its 20th anniversary.
THE WHITE STRIPES XX will be available as part of Third Man’s Vault subscription service. The release will be newly mixed by Jack White, and is set to feature previously unreleased outtakes from The White Stripes recording. Additionally, the collection will come accompanied by an LP that was captured at a live show in Raleigh, a DVD of two 1999 performances in Michigan, and a 24-page booklet of archival material.
Today, the White Stripes have dropped a previously unreleased cover of Burt Bacharach’s “My Little Red Book,” which you can listen to below.
