It looks like Wavves’ frontman Nathan Williams and his label are hanging their dirty laundry on Twitter for the world to see.
Nathan Williams has been a busy boy, recently dropping a collaboration with Cloud Nothings, while fans have been anticipating when then next Wavves album will come out. Yesterday Williams broke that silence by releasing “Way Too Much” against his label Warner Brothers’ approval. Shortly after WB threatened to pull the song, Wavves piped back, saying that if the pulled the song he would drop the entire new album, which he later identified as v.

When Warner Brother did pull the track from SoundCloud, it pushed Williams over the edge, and reminded them “you don’t scare me”. What followed was an all-out trash-talk fest, between a label making silent moves and a very loud mouthed Wavves via Twitter.
