Listen: WOOZE share wavy new single ‘Witch Slap (IOU)’

WOOZE (named after the phonetic translation of ‘space’ in Korean) are an alternative outfit based in south London. Their sound is refreshing, reminiscent of 70s psych-rock and 80s post punk with rich memorable vocals.

“Witch Slap (IOU),” WOOZE’s newest song, certainly slaps. The track is upbeat and energetic, with punchy guitar rhythms and an extremely groovy bass line that’s isolated around the 1:30 minute mark.

The band revealed in a statement that the single is a “sadomasochistic take on a classic love song.”

Their second EP Get Me To A Nunnery has no official release date yet, however is set to drop sometime this fall.
