According to Variety, Call Me By Your Name and Suspiria director Luca Guadagnino will be taking on William Golding’s novel, Lord of the Flies.

Guadagnino will be directing a screenplay penned by Nicole Perlman and Geneva Robertson-Dworet, who previously collaborated on Captain Marvel, Guardians of the Galaxy, and more.
The Warner Bros. film will be based on the 1954 book, which revolves around a group of British boys stranded on an island, and the disaster that ensues. Since the release of the book, it’s been adapted for film and television three separate times.
