Mac DeMarco’s Melbourne barbeque raises $210,000 for bushfire relief

Mac Demarco hosted a barbeque in Melbourne, which raised a whopping $210,000 for bushfire relief.

While out on tour in Australia, the Canadian indie rock goofball hosted Grill for Good Park last Sunday, January 12th. Joined by the likes of major artists like Pond, Amyl and The Sniffers, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, CHAI, Alice Skye, Laura Jean, and Rolling Blackouts Coastal, DeMarco hosted the barbeque, where chefs, DJs, artists, and small businesses helped cook up a storm.

Today, organizers revealed that the event raised $210,000 for Wildlife Victoria and Fire Relief Fund for First Nations Communities.
