Macaulay Culkin responds to Disney’s plan to reboot ’90s holiday classic ‘Home Alone’

'Call me!'

Macaulay Culkin, the original star of the 1990 Christmas classic Home Alone, has taken to Twitter in response to the news of Disney’s forthcoming reboot.

CEO, Bob Iger confirmed that Disney will be creating a modern rendition of the film for a “new generation,” while also confirming reboots for other childhood classics like Night at the Museum, Cheaper by the Dozen and Diary of a Wimpy Kid. The shows are to premier on Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+, which will be launching this coming November.

Culkin responded to the news on Twitter with a funny picture of him sitting in his living dressed in comfy wear and a big bowl of food, with the caption, “This is what an updated Home Alone would actually look like.” Below the picture he continues his post by tagging Disney and offering his services “Hey @Disney, call me!”
