Marilyn Manson Collapses on Stage During Houston Concert

It's been a rough summer for him

It has not been a great summer for Marilyn Manson. The Antichrist Superstar collapsed on stage during a performance in Houston Sunday night. Manson’s management had removed photographers from the pit prior to his set, which the Houston Press reports was due to the singer not feeling well and not wanting his photo taken.

Manson could be seen collapsing onto monitors while performing the Eurythmics “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This).” Manson, who told the crowd earlier he was dealing with “heat poisoning,” briefly returned to the stage before ending his show.

Manson disappointed Toronto fans in July when he failed to take the stage as part of his tour with Rob Zombie. Manson’s absence was due to “unforeseen illness.”

It does not appear that the 49-year-old artist is in the best shape right now. Let’s hope he can get himself together.
