AEW wrestler Orange Cassidy is the mastermind behind this cover. The cult-hero fronted the money to start using the Pixies hit tune “Where Is My Mind” as his entrance music. Now, he’s teamed up with a whole slew of bands for a hardcore cover for the Two Minutes To Late Night series.
In the intro, Cassidy mutters about not talking about Fight Club before the cover begins. As it progresses, he gives some bored looks directly into the camera. The killer new cover sees punk and hardcore heavyweights delivering some rowdy instrumentals. Touché Amoré and Hesitation Wounds frontman Jeremy Bolm sings lead vocals on this cover. Throughout the tune he delivers some impressive wails.

PUP‘s Steve Slakowski and Bloodbather’s Salem Fex join Bolm on guitar. Vein.Fm’s Jon Lhaubouet also plays bass and God’s Hate and Twitching Tongues co-leader Colin Young plays drums. Two Minutes To Late Night creator Jordan Olds also joins in on the hardcore anthem.
Back in January, PUP took to NPR Tiny Desk to deliver a rowdy at-home concert. The four-track set saw the band performing “Rot,” “Kids,” “Scorpion Hill,” and “Reservoir.” The band sure delivered on this performance, launching into crunchy, killer riffs and wailing vocals.
“My neighbors hate us, and I don’t blame them,” frontman Stefan Babcock explains.
