Michael Moore has a great way of helping us see the obvious.
He put the American media on blast for romanticizing violence and gun culture in Bowling For Columbine, he called out the U.S Government on where their loyalties lie in Fahrenheit 9/11, and put the American Health Insurance and Pharmaceutical Industry through the wringer in Sicko; but now, American film maker Michael Moore is taking on another obvious target: Donald Trump.
The Oscar-winning filmmaker has been quite outspoken regarding his hostility towards Trump throughout the presidential election, but on Tuesday (October 18), Moore made his feelings a little more concrete. Right in time for the third and final presidential debate, Moore released his new documentary,Michael Moore in TrumpLand , with a free screening at New York City’s IFC Center last night.
On Wednesday (October 19), the 73-minute film will begin its theatrical run at the IFC Center (for one week only) and Los Angeles’ Laemmle Town Center 5 in Encino, and will be available in digital shortly.
The film’s official synopsis reads: “See the film Ohio Republicans tried to shut down. Oscar-winner Michael Moore dives right into hostile territory with his daring and hilarious one-man show, deep in the heart of TrumpLand in the weeks before the 2016 election.”
