German duo Milky Chance return to the Black Box at Indie88 on the heels of the release of their new album Trip Tape.
The pair released Trip Tape last month, a surprise mixtape featuring two new songs, plus unreleased demos, and covers including Dua Lipa’s “Levitate” and Soft Cell’s “Tainted Love”.
“We spent so much time in the studio the past couple years working on new music,” the band explains. “‘Colorado’ was the big kick-off. But in lockdown two things happened – next to ‘Colorado’ we found ourselves with so many new songs we love and we kind of got into making our own versions of other artist’s songs we enjoy.”
They performed acoustic versions of the two new original songs from the mixtape live in the Black Box studio.
