Modest Mouse frontman Isaac Brock has found himself at the centre of a lawsuit stemming from an August 2016 car wreck, which he caused after falling asleep at the wheel. Brock was not charged with a crime after he crashed into a city of Portland, Oregon pick-up truck, but he’s now facing a lawsuit from a city employee, Cassidy Kane, seeking $865,000 in damages, the Associated Press reports.
Kane’s lawsuit claims the accident “caused herniated disks in her spine and did other tissue and muscle damage that continues to cause her pain and numbness in her extremities.”
Brock told authorities he fell asleep at the wheel, causing a five-car accident. Police could not confirm that Brock was under the influence at the time. It must have been A Long Drive For Someone With Nothing to Think About, no word if he was driving a “Baby Blue Sedan.”
