National Geographic lists Toronto as one of the best cities to visit in 2019

We're listed along with Cairo, Macedonia, and the Peruvian Amazon

National Geographic releases a “Best Trips” issue every year, which features places they choose as the best spots to visit in the world. This year, Toronto has been named one of the renowned magazine’s seven cities worth visiting.

There are four categories on the list: “Nature,” “Culture,” “Adventure,” and “Cities,” which includes Toronto. All the categories bring the list up to 28 destinations that the magazine hopes can “inspire, change perspectives, and connect us with cultures, places, and ideas that matter in the world.”

Toronto ends up being listed among some outstanding spots like the Peruvian Amazon; Tahiti, French Polynesia; Cairo, Egypt; and many more.
