Not too long ago Neil Young released A Letter Home, a compilation of covers from decades ago that were recorded straight to vinyl on Jack White’s Third Man Records Voice-O-Graph booth. White and Young went on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night and decided to put a twist on the typical talk show performance. White brought the aforementioned booth to the show and Neil Young cut a record in front of the live audience. Don’t worry, if you can’t wrap your head around how it works they take you through a demonstration to help you understand.
