Netflix has begun begging fans to stop participating in the Bird Box challenge after the horror flick inspired fans to start undertaking everyday tasks while blindfolded.
Can’t believe I have to say this, but: PLEASE DO NOT HURT YOURSELVES WITH THIS BIRD BOX CHALLENGE. We don’t know how this started, and we appreciate the love, but Boy and Girl have just one wish for 2019 and it is that you not end up in the hospital due to memes.

The recent hit thriller features Sandra Bullock as a mother who must get her children to safety after a supernatural apocalypse begins, where people are forced to navigate the world blindfolded or else they will lose their sanity if they lay eyes on the film’s antagonists.
Now that the movie has exploded into pop culture, fans have started filming videos as they try to perform everyday tasks blindfolded. Most of the videos end with a bit of harmless embarrassment, but Netflix has now urged for fans to stop participating in the craze, as it could end in serious injury.
