Netflix reportedly will not complete highly anticipated wrap movie for ‘The OA’

The show will be left unresolved

Earlier this month, Netflix cancelled the critically-acclaimed science fiction series, The OA. Fans took to social media to express their anger and even protested outside of Netflix’s Hollywood headquarters. It has now been announced that Netflix reportedly does not plan to produce a wrap-up film for the show, according to Screen Rant.

The OA season 1 premiered on Netflix in December of 2016 and the second season followed in March of this year. Season 2 currently has a 92 per cent score on Rotten Tomatoes, which left people confused as to why the show has been canceled.

The OA creators Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij have taken to social media to express their opinions and gratitude to their supporters.

With The OA officially coming to an end, we can’t wait to see what else Marling and Batmanglij bring to the table.
