If you are a Samsung television owner and Netflix subscriber, then you may want to check to make sure your device will still support the streaming service as of December 1, 2019. Samsung released a statement indicating that “technical limitations” will spell the end of Netflix streaming capabilities on some of their older Smart TVs next month.
“Due to technical limitations, Netflix will no longer be supported on some devices beginning on December 1st, 2019,” the statement reads. “Some older Samsung smart TV’s are affected by this change. In the future, Netflix can be viewed from many other devices capable of connecting to your TV.”

Samsung has not clarified which specific television models will be affected. Whatever the case, Samsung owners will still have the option of connecting Netflix to their television via another device, such as Apple TV, Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Roku.
