Canadian actor Neve Campbell is set to reprise her role as Sidney Prescott in the slasher film franchise Scream, Bloody Disgusting reports. Campbell starred in all four of director Wes Craven’s films in the series.
Spyglass Media Group and Paramount Pictures are relaunching the franchise for a fifth film, which will also star David Arquette and Courteney Cox, who will return as Dewey Riley and Gale Weathers.

The fifth instalment in the Scream franchise will be directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett of the filmmaking group Radio Silence.
“After spending time speaking with Radio Silence, they have shown such love, respect and admiration for Wes Craven and all that he’s created in the Scream franchise,” Campbell said in a statement. “I am beyond excited to step back into the role of Sidney Prescott and return to Woodsboro.”
