New Evening Hymns Video “Arrows”

Explore Canadian cottage country in Evening Hymns' new video

Ontario indie collective, Evening Hymns, has a new video for their song “Arrows.” The track appeared on the band’s recent Spectral Dusk which was longlisted for the 2013 Polaris Prize.

Evening Hymns is the work of Jonas Bonnetta and features mainstay Sylvie Smith and a rotating roster of musicians from fellow Canadian groups including Ohbijou, The Wooden Sky, The Burning Hell, The D’Urbervilles and Forest City Lovers.

According to Out of this Spark (record label):

Evening Hymns are sung from the cathedrals of tall trees. They capture the spirit of moments, of friends around a bonfire on a foggy beach, the crunching of snowshoes in the silence of a winter night and memories of tribal boys growing up with pellet guns, fishing and handmade forts.

Watch the video and take a blindfolded journey through Canadian cottage country with Bonnetta and a mysterious hooded figure.
