We have gone a whole month with nothing new, but the wait is coming to an end!
Vampire Weekend tried their best to release two songs a month from their new album Father of the Bride, but unfortunately they were not able to fulfill the quota for February. After getting some advice to put off the release and get things organized, they worked on the songs a bit more and are set to release them on March 6. The new tracks will be “Sunflower” and “Big Blue,” joining January releases “2021” and “Harmony Hall.”

SUNFLOWER / BIG BLUE OUT NEXT WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6. wanted to get it out in February but we were convinced by intelligent people to wait a week to get some ducks in a row. Lots more coming/happening in Phase 2. It’s about to get pretty busy. A couple fun facts: Sunflower is the sibling song of Flower Moon. Big Blue was played off the speakers at our Lollapalooza aftershow in Chicago last summer. (Who was there??) SEE U NEXT WEEK
