Nick Cave says that Snoop Dogg’s cover of ‘Red Right Hand’ left him with a ‘giant smile’

Snoop Dogg covered the track for 'Peaky Blinders'

Snoop Dogg recently covered Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds’ “Red Right Hand” for Peaky Blinders, and now Cave has revealed that Snoop’s rendition left him with a “giant smile.”

According to NME, Cave first revealed that “Red Right Hand,” which is likely the band’s most well-known song, “follows [him] around like a junkyard dog.” Luckily, Snoop Dogg’s funky, groovy take revitalized Cave’s love for the track.

“Of all the versions, his is the one that I had a giant smile on my face after,” Cave explains. “He didn’t perform it with great reverence, he just fucked around with it and reignited my love for that song.”
