While US kids’ network Nickelodeon has been keeping its viewers entertained with Spongebob Squarepants and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, they have an extensive back catalogue of favourites that are about to be revived.
“We are getting ready to bring back some of the ones they’ve told us multiple times they want to have brought back,” said the network’s president of content and development, Russell Hicks.
Hicks was not specific on which classics they are thinking of bringing back, but those who grew up on Nickelodeon are in for a nostalgic treat.
“We are looking at our library to bring back ideas, shows that were loved in a fresh new way,” Hicks said.
Alongside Rugrats and The Ren & Stimpy Show, popular shows that have a good chance of revival are Clarissa Explains It All, Kenan & Kel, Hey Arnold!, and The Secret World of Alex Mack.
