Nintendo confirmed nearly 52 million sales of the original Nintendo Switch console. The recent launch of “Animal Crossing: New Horizons” has also caused a surge in sales, as Nintendo was offering a special bundle to purchase both the console and the game upon its release.
“Nintendo Switch hardware is selling out at various retail locations in the US, but more systems are on the way. We apologize for any inconvenience,” Nintendo confirmed in a statement Thursday morning.
