Olivia Rodrigo performed at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles last night (May 24th), where she brought out Alanis Morissette for a performance of her hit track “You Oughta Know.”
The show marked the first of two nights Rodrigo was performing at the Greek Theatre during her Sour tour. Rodrigo’s cover of Morissette’s 1995 hit, “You Oughta Know,” served as the fourth cover on the tour setlist. Thus far, Rodrigo has covered Veruca Salt’s “Seether,” Avril Lavigne’s “Complicated,” and No Doubt’s “Just A Girl.”
Last night’s fun-loving performance stayed pretty true to Morissette’s anthemic original. In clips of the duet, the crowd sang along to the beloved chorus, as the pair sang lines like, “And I’m here, to remind you/ Of the mess you left when you went away.”

Earlier this month, Olivia Rodrigo made a stop in Toronto at Massey Hall. During the set, she brought out Avril Lavigne to perform “Complicated.” Both Lavigne and Rodrigo donned plaid miniskirts and platform Dr. Martens for the cover.
Before bringing her out on stage, Olivia Rodrigo called Lavigne someone “who broke down so many barriers, and opened so many doors for girls like me. I can’t sing her praises enough. She’s from Canada, and I’m so, so, so lucky because she came here tonight to sing with me.”
Following the “You Oughta Know” and “Complicated” duets, we have to wonder which artist Rodrigo will bring out next.
