Osheaga has postponed their festival for a second time due to COVID-19.
As the 2020 festival approached, promoters pushed back the event as far as they could before eventually having to move it to 2021 altogether. Now, they’ve been forced to move the festival once again to 2022.
Osheaga was supposed to return to Parc Jean-Drapeau for its 15th edition from July 31s to August 1st with performances from headliners Foo Fighers, Cardi B, and Post Malone, and now the Montreal festival has been postponed to July 29th to 31st, 2022.

“We’ve been working since last summer to try to deliver the full festival experience to fans,” evenko Senior Vice President, Booking, Concerts and Events and Osheaga founder Nick Farkas explains. “We are keenly aware of how important live music is to our fans and our city, and how much everyone misses it! We want to be back there in the midst of it too, but the truth is that it takes several months to line up the various elements to create a festival, and with current uncertainty, we don’t have that luxury – that said, we remain hopeful that the situation will improve enough so that we can be back in action soon.”
All 2020 and 2021 tickets will be honoured for the 2022 events, but refunds are also available at Osheaga.com.
