Paramore front woman Hayley Williams addressed the crowd at When We Were Young Festival this past weekend about the state of emo; “…When Paramore came into the scene…the scene was not always safe place to be if you were different, if you were a women, if you were a person of colour, if you were queer, and that’s really f**ked up if you think about it.”
