According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paul Rudd is set to play a small town teacher in the forthcoming Ghostbusters flick.
The official Ghostbusters Twitter account posted a video of Rudd chatting about the project, stating that when he got the call he, “nearly slimed” himself. The new film will see Rudd joining the likes of Carrie Coon, who plays a single mom, and her family, Finn Wolfhard and McKenna Grace.

“I can’t wait to join the cast this fall for Ghostbusters,” Rudd explains. “In fact I’m sliming myself right now.”
Ghostbusters is set to start production in the fall, and Sony has dated the release for July 10th, 2020.
