Pete Davidson will no longer be making a Just For Laughs appearance, according to CBC News.
Yesterday (August 10th), the festival confirmed that the comedian will no longer be making appearance.
Back in June, Pete Davidson had been announced as a headliner for Just For Laughs Toronto. The appearance was supposed to take place at September 25th at Meridian Hall. Titled In Conversation With Pete Davidson, the former SNL star’s appearance was one of two ComedyCon headlining set.

The other headlining set, which is from Insecure co-creator and star Issa Rae, is still on. But now, the event page for In Conversation With Pete Davidson has been removed, alongside his artist page on the festival site.
Just For Laughs sent an email out to ticketholders, saying that the festival was cancelled as a result of a scheduling conflict. Luckily, anyone who purchased tickets will get a full refund form Ticketmaster. Attendees that purchased a Headliner Pass will have their account cancelled, and reserved shows will be lost. The festival says that the passes can be repurchased.
“We were born to make you laugh,” the Just For Laughs website reads. “From our humble beginnings in 1983 at the Saint-Denis Theatre in Montreal to laughing our way to become the largest global player in the humour industry, we’ve made funny our business. Each year we make millions of people laugh with festivals at home, in Montreal and abroad.”
The announcement comes just days after Pete Davidson’s relationship with Kim Kardashian ended.
