Pete Davidson refuses to perform after owner of comedy club makes ‘disrespectful’ remarks about Ariana Grande

'Everyone who got tickets for that show, I am doing a free show for you guys and we'll figure out where it's gonna be'

Pete Davidson reportedly refused to perform at a comedy club after stating that the owner made “disrespectful comments” about his ex-fiancée Ariana Grande and ex-girlfriend Kate Beckinsale.

The Saturday Night Live comedian was set to perform at the Stress Factory Comedy Club in Bridgeport, Connecticut but decided to pull out of the show, accusing the owner of “disrespecting” him with comments about his former partners. According to Cosmopolitan, before Davidson was set to go on stage, the club’s owner, Vinnie Brand, said, “Don’t ask any questions about his exes Ariana Grande or Kate Beckinsale.”

“Hey guys of Connecticut, I’m sorry that we had to leave the show before I got on,” Davidson said in a video posted on Instagram. “The owner Vinnie Brand disrespected me and did something I told him not to do and I can’t perform under those circumstances.”

A clip from TMZ has surfaced that shows Davidson’s apology to the audience, which you can see below.
