Peter Hook to stream performance of every Joy Division song as tribute to Ian Curtis

It will stream on May 18 from 7 pm onward

Former Joy Division bass player Peter Hook has announced he will be streaming a gig from 2015, which includes every Joy Division song as a tribute to late frontman Ian Curtis.

The 2015 concert had Hook’s band Peter Hook & The Light perform a three hour concert at Christ Church in Ian Curtis’ hometown of Macclesfield in England. The show will debut online across both Joy Division’s and The Light’s Youtube and Facebook channels.

“It was tough, it was completely stupid and ridiculous, but in the end we did it and it felt absolutely wonderful to play the whole library of my absolutely favourite band,” Hook explains to NME.

Stream #SoThisIsPermanent on Monday, May 18th at 7:00 p.m. EST, and it will be available for 24 hours on Youtube!
