Three nights. Three shows. Three venues. A great band. A Toronto homecoming.
Those were the ingredients of “Ruff Ruff Ruff”, the final chapter of an extensive tour with the band Born Ruffians in support of their latest album Ruff.
Last night the band finished off their three night stint in Toronto with a sold-out, jam-packed show at the Opera House on Queen Street East. On the previous two nights the band played equally packed shows at the Silver Dollar and Lee’s Palace.
In 10 years, Born Ruffians have solidified their reputation as one of Toronto’s best indie bands forging a unique voice in the scene, which has brought them national and international acclaim.
Indie88.com has been featuring Born Ruffian’s video diary showcasing life on tour through Europe and the United States leading up to this weekend’s homecoming. We also spent the last three days with the band documenting the Toronto showcases – capturing exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of the shows and interviews that delve into their thoughts on making music, life on the road, and the city they love.
