Last month, YouTube opened their first Canadian space for creators, right here in downtown Toronto.
The 3,500 square foot facility at the Sherborne George Brown Campus was co-designed by George Brown students, and features an array of Canadian relics and artwork. The space is meant as a hub for YouTubers to learn, connect, and create video content. Inside the studio, various settings are outfitted with retro antiques, Canadiana decor, and a mural by Runt – the Toronto painter behind the infamous Lee’s Palace mural.
