Massive Remembrance Day Installation at the Tower of London

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the WW1, there has been 888,246 poppies planted at the Tower of London – each one representing a fallen British or Commonwealth soldier. Each poppy was sold for £25 to members of the public. This is one of the most stunning, creative large-scale public installations in recent years.

Throngs of people have flocked to the location, capturing the event on Instagram. Below are some of the best.

Tune in to Indie88 tomorrow morning for a special Remembrance Day moment followed by a moment of silence for our fallen Canadian soldiers at 11am.
