Pictures Of People Trying To Sell Mirrors Are Unexpectedly Hilarious

There’s A Whole Community Online Dedicated To Pictures Of People Trying To Sell Mirrors

People trying to sell mirrors is so freaking hilarious and we really can’t quite figure out why.

The first time I started to explore this subject, I was almost in tears laughing. I texted my bestie who shares the same ridiculous, strange sense of humour as me and told her about it.

She didn’t get it at all. I think she may have attempted an “LOL” but it was only to make me feel better.

Clearly, this phenomenon is funny to some and totally puzzling to others.

So what is it about these pictures of people trying to sell mirrors (not black mirrors) that is so darn hilarious?

Perhaps it’s the various ways that the sellers try to conceal themselves in the mirror.

The earnest and adorable things that you catch in the frame?

I’m thinking it also has a lot to do with the “normal” nature of the people in the photographs. They’re just trying to be creative with their mirror ad, right?

Every so often, a submission makes it in that rewards a little bit of effort. For example, if you look closely, this fella runs an anonymous YouTube channel. He wants to sell his reward for 100K subscribers. I wonder if he knows that he reveals his identity to all in the mirrored reflection of the YouTube logo.

Remember when we talked about the “normal” nature of the sellers and how they end up in the photograph? This dude is so chill he didn’t even bother putting on a shirt. It’s a “come as you are” mirror selling party.

Well hello there, flufferino! This guy looks like his name might be Charles. And Charles leaves me wondering whether or not the owner orchestrated this cuteness, or it just happened all on its own.

This. Take a close look. At first it looks like a weird hand, because a hand is really the only thing that can hold a phone and take a picture, right?

WRONG.

Look again Sherlock! It’s a FOOT. Major extra points for anonymity.

These dudes look like they’re having a grand old time. I really can’t figure out what that line is in the background though. Looks like a big crooked wall. Maybe I’m missing something. Anyway look how happy that guy looks with the curly hair! Love him!
