Point your phone at the moon to hear Pearl Jam’s new song

'Gigaton' drops on March 27

Pearl Jam has teased a new track called “Superblood Wolfmoon” off their upcoming album Gigaton. This time, the band has shared the song via a unique collaboration: the moon.

To deliver this experience, Pearl Jam developed an augmented reality web app in a partnership with Powster. According to a press release, the app will “trigger on-screen animations around and over the moon, timed with a preview of ‘Superblood Wolfmoon’ and an in-app option to pre-order the song.”

To hear the snippet, fans can head over to moon.pearljam.com on their cell phones and point their phone at the moon.

If you’re not into the collaboration with the cosmos, the track drops in full February 18th on various streaming services.

Gigaton drops March 27th via UMG.
