PUP, Basia Bulat, Mac DeMarco, more among 2020 Prism Prize Finalists

The list will be narrowed down to 10 on April 2

The Prism Prize has announced the finalists for 2020, and it features acts like Mac DeMarco, Basia Bulat, and two videos from PUP.

There are 20 videos in the race for the award, which is given to the best Canadian music video each year, and this year sees clips from artists like Daniel Caesar, Orville Peck, Jessie Reyes, Said the Whale, iskwē, Jeremy Dutcher, Shad, and more. The grand prize winner will receive a whopping $20,000.

The 20-video list will be narrowed down to 10 on April 2nd, before the final winner is announced on May 11th in Toronto. The nominees are voted on by over 120 music, film, and media arts professionals.
