Queen to Release New Album

A rumoured new Queen album gets confirmed

In an interview with BBC Radio, Brian May, lead guitarist of Queen, has confirmed a new Queen album and a sequel to We Will Rock You is on the way.

You can bet on hearing Freddie Mercury’s sweet vocals sometime later this year. The album is rumoured to be called Queen Forever, and is primarily comprised of material from the eighties.

May has also confirmed that a sequel to We Will Rock You is in the works as well. May can only confirm that Ben Elton is returning as author to the sequel and that they’ve gone as far as walking through the script with actors, but no more can be said on the subject.

Before any of this is happening though, Queen is embarking on a cross country tour with Adam Lambert. You can catch the show when it comes to the Air Canada Centre on July 13 and 28.
