The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has released their 2019 nominees, which includes Radiohead, Rage Against The Machine, Janet Jackson, Stevie Nicks, The Cure, Def Leppard, and more.
The top five musicians will be announced in December, based on votes from a group of artists, historians, music industry members, and a fan vote. All five artists will then be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April 2019.

To be eligible for the Hall of Fame, an artist’s first recording must have been released at least 25 years ago. No artists that were eligible for the first time this year have been nominated, such as Beck, Jeff Buckley, and the Dave Matthews Band.
Last year’s nominees that didn’t make the cut included Kate Bush, Nine Inch Nails, The Smiths, and Depeche Mode. The inductees from 2018 included Nina Simone, Bon Jovi, The Cars, and Dire Straights.
