Rage Against the Machine postpones several North American tour dates due to coronavirus

This includes dates from March 26th to May 19th

Rage Against the Machine join the long list of other artists who have taken precautions against the coronavirus, cancelling several Canadian and U.S. tour dates.

The band was supposed to head on tour with Run the Jewels from March 26th until August 17th. Tour dates up until May 19th have been postponed until further notice.

The statement reads:

“Due to the current outbreak and ban on public gatherings, we are postponing the first part of our tour (March 26th – May 20th) with Run the Jewels. The safety and health of those who come to our shows is of the utmost importance to us. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for newly scheduled shows. As it stands, the July and August tour is still on and we will be in touch soon about rescheduled dates.”

Rage Against the Machine was set to perform at the Scotiabank Arena on July 23rd and 25th. Those dates have yet to be cancelled.
