Rami Malek reportedly in ‘final negotiations’ to become next Bond villain

'That would be another dream role for me'

Oscar award winning actor Rami Malek is supposedly getting ready to play the main villain in Daniel Craig’s final flick as 007.

After winning an Oscar for Bohemian Rhapsody last week, Malek is gearing up and clearing his schedule to play Craig’s nemesis in the forthcoming Bond 25, according to Collider. Full details on the character have not yet been revealed, but Collider reports that Moroccan actor Said Taghmaoui, who was originally linked to the role, made comments suggesting that the villain may be blind.

In January, Malek stayed aloof when asked about being potentially linked to the role. “We’ll have to see about that – it would be nice to play a villain, that would be another dream role for me,” Malek explained to ET. “I’ve got to play so many great ones so far so who knows.”
