Rebel Nightclub announces lineup of summer concerts, events at new drive-in theatre

The first concert takes place on July 16

Toronto’s new drive-in theatre and outdoor concert venue, CityView Drive-In, which is run by the owners of Rebel Nightclub, has announced its lineup of summer concerts and events.

The drive-in is taking over the parking lot just north of Rebel at 20 Polson Street, and its set to open up in the next few weeks. There’s set to be a. first round of concerts starting on July 16th with Monster Truck, July 18th with Allan Rayman, and August 9th with A Tribe Called Red.

“Designed to host 200+ vehicles in reserved parking spots a minimum of seven feet apart, guests can enjoy live entertainment from the 238-foot stage and three large LED screens supplied by Apex Sound & Light from the comfort of their own car,” according to a press release.

Guests will be provided with an FM radio frequency to tune into the performance so that they don’t have to lower their vehicle’s windows, but you can also listen to the show through the venue’s sound system.

Tickets for events, concerts, and movies can be bought ahead of time, and they will be scanned at the gate using a touches system.
