Here’s another excuse for the travel bug, China is in the midst of creating the longest glass-bottom bridge in China’s Hunan province. It’s located in the heart of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, a stunning backdrop to a bridge 430 meters long, six meters wide and a whopping 300-meter vertical drop.
Designed by Israeli architect Haim Dotan, the glass-bottom bridge will also feature the world’s highest bungee jump and possibly serve as a runway for fashion shows.
The bridge is expected to hold a maximum of 800 people at a time and construction is set to be finalized in May 2016. Take a look at the photographs of workers installing the first piece of glass.
