Record Store Day (April 16), celebrates record stores and vinyl culture, and this year you can expect to find two reissues of David Bowie classics to hit stores. Bowie’s “TVC15” single and The Man Who Sold The World will both be treated as new releases next month. The news was announced via David Bowie’s Facebook page today.
The first record being pressed is “TVC15” from album, Station to Station. The song celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. The track will be backed by “Wild is the Wind”, another popular Bowie track.
The reissue of The Man Who Sold The World will feature an older German edition printed by Mercury records. It is said to be the rarest of the album versions that have gone around.
